Zerintia HealthTech, a Spanish digital health company, continues its international expansion with the signing of a strategic agreement with Promed, one of the leading providers of medical technologies and devices in the Central America and Caribbean region. Through this partnership, Promed becomes the exclusive distributor of the 4RemoteHealth tool in Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Belize, and Haiti.
The software developed by Zerintia HealthTech enables remote, real-time collaboration among healthcare professionals in high-complexity environments such as operating rooms, ICUs, ambulances, and emergency rooms, as well as in various healthcare network scenarios, integrating all the necessary medical and surgical equipment for each situation.
The alliance between Zerintia HealthTech and Promed was formalized with a training session held last February, where the opportunities and impact of 4RemoteHealth in the digital health sector in the Central American region were discussed. In recent months, both companies have worked together to identify opportunities in key markets such as Panama and Guatemala.
This agreement marks a significant step in the expansion of 4RemoteHealth into the Latin American market, offering advanced technological solutions to improve remote healthcare and access to health services in the region.
Promed, founded in 1968 in Panama, specializes in the distribution of medical equipment, devices, and services for the healthcare and industrial sectors. The company has established itself as one of the leading technology providers in the Central America and Caribbean region. Its focus is on offering innovative, high-quality solutions for the medical field, with a strong commitment to healthcare and the development of infrastructure in the healthcare sector.
Ten Distributors Worldwide
This agreement with Promed adds to the recently signed agreements by Zerintia HealthTech with Erbe Emitac and El Ajou, expanding the company’s presence in key markets such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and its growth in Europe. Additionally, the company has entered into collaborations with the medical technology industry in Spain, including a recent contract with the IAVANTE Foundation to integrate its platform into their medical training programs.
Thus, the Spanish digital health company currently has ten distributors of 4RemoteHealth worldwide, a figure it aims to double by the end of this year.
